My passion for sewing did not start until the first corona-implemented lockdown. A pharmacist by training and a scientist at work, I needed a hobby to keep my mind busy during the long days of staying-at-home.

Shortly after getting my first sewing machine I discovered how enjoyable and calming sewing is! I used my natural love  for learning new techniques and experimentation as my motivation to try new projects and perfect them! By following sewing patterns and tutorials, as well as trying to design my own patterns, my aim is to improve and expand my creations.

I try to combine this passion with my dream of a sustainable world to the best of my ability. To this end, I focus on using natural materials for my products, which are mainly made from 100% cotton. Additionally, repurposing non-recyclable materials is a great way of keeping them away from the landfills, which is why I get scrap fabrics from a furniture remodelling company to use on zipper pouches etc. I will also try to include more environmentally friendly products, such as the reusable face wipes, in order to reduce waste.
